Tasks Report

Review all your task activity - personal, project, and CRM - along with your Focus Mode stats for the period.

The Tasks tab in Reports gives you a single view of everything task-shaped in your workspace: personal tasks, project tasks, and CRM tasks in one set of totals. It also summarises your Focus Mode for the period so you can see how much actual focus time went into your work, not just how many tasks you moved.

For the Reports page overall, see Reports Overview.

Focus Mode stats live inside this tab

You don't need to open Focus Mode to see your weekly focus picture - it's summarised here so you can read "what I did" and "what I focused on" in one place.

What you can do

personal, project, and CRM.

Export the tab as a CSV or PDF

when you want to work with the numbers elsewhere or share them.

How to open the Tasks tab

Open Reports from the sidebar, then switch to the Tasks tab. Reports can also be opened from the command palette (+K / Ctrl+K) with Reports.

What the Tasks tab shows

Task totals

At the top of the tab you see four headline numbers for the selected filters:

  • Total tasks across the categories you have toggled on
  • Completed tasks
  • Active tasks (not yet completed)
  • Overdue tasks

Each number is clickable - opening a filtered task list so you can see exactly which tasks are behind the number.

Tasks by status

A breakdown of every task status in your Space, with counts. Click a status to jump straight to a task list filtered by it.

For how statuses work and how to configure them, see Custom Statuses and Priorities.

Tasks by priority

A breakdown by priority with counts. Click a priority to open the filtered list.

Tasks by category

A split of totals into Personal, Project, and CRM so you can see where your work is coming from.

Focus Mode stats - built into the Tasks tab

The Tasks tab includes a Focus Mode summary for the selected period, so you don't have to leave Reports to see your focus work. You get:

  • Weekly focus time and break time totals
  • Session count
  • Completion rate - how often sessions finished
  • Daily focus breakdown for the last seven days
  • Focus streak - consecutive days with at least one focused session
  • Top focused tasks - the tasks that consumed the most focus time this period, with both total time and session count

For the Focus Mode workflow itself - starting sessions, breaks, and the focus stats experience - see Task Focus Mode. For the always-on focus summary on the home page, see Focus Stats widget.

Filters that matter here

The filter suite at the top of the Reports page controls what you see:

  • Time range - 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, or all time
  • Task categories - toggle Personal, Project, and CRM independently
  • Bypass time range for tasks - show every task regardless of the time range when you want the big picture

See Reports Filters and Export for the full filter suite.

Bypass time when you're looking for stalled work

A 30-day view hides tasks that were created months ago and never moved. Flip the task bypass toggle when you want to see everything regardless of age.

Export the Tasks tab

Use Export at the top of the page while the Tasks tab is open, then pick CSV or PDF. Both include the task totals, the by-status breakdown, the by-priority breakdown, and the by-category split. The PDF lays the figures out with clean headings, tables, and page numbers, and picks up your date and time settings from Settings. See Reports Filters and Export for what each export contains.

Things worth knowing

Every number is clickable

If you can see it on the tab, you can click it. The click opens a filtered task list so you can go from "47 overdue" to "which 47" in one step.

The Focus summary counts sessions, not timers

If you tracked time on a task without a focus session, that time shows in the task's own time tracking and in Project Metrics - not in the Focus summary here.

The Focus section reflects sessions, not task timers

The Focus Mode summary reflects actual focus sessions and their outcomes. If you track time on a task without a focus session, that time shows up in the task's time tracking and in Project Metrics - not here. See Task Focus Mode and Project Metrics.

Bypass the time range when you want everything

Time range makes the view period-specific. Use the bypass toggle when you want every task regardless of when it was created.

CRM tasks count here even if CRM is off

The Tasks tab is tier-agnostic. If your Space has ever imported or synced CRM tasks, they still show up in the Tasks totals - turn off the CRM task toggle to hide them.

Common questions

"What's the difference between the Tasks tab and the Dashboard task widgets?"

The Tasks tab is an aggregate view for a selected period. Dashboard widgets are live and tuned to today's work. Use Reports to look back; use Dashboard to move forward.

"Where's the detailed time breakdown for a single task?"

Open the task - every task has its own time tracking. For the per-project rollup of task time, see Project Metrics.

"Can I filter by assignee?"

The Reports filter suite filters by task category and time range. For assignee filtering and other rich filters, use the List View on the Tasks page.

"How is Focus Mode completion rate calculated?"

It reflects how many focus sessions in the period ended successfully (reaching their target time) versus the total number of sessions started. See Task Focus Mode.
