Reports Overview
A workspace-wide view of your tasks, projects, CRM activity, and sales performance - in one place.
The Reports page pulls your most important productivity data into one view - tasks, projects, and (with Pro and CRM enabled) your CRM activity and sales performance. Pick a time range, narrow the data with filters, click any number to dig in, and export what you need as a CSV or PDF when you want to work with it outside PrimeTask.
Reports is where you step back from day-to-day work and ask the bigger questions: how am I doing, what's getting done, what's slipping, and where is the time going.

The Dashboard is built for live, day-to-day awareness. Reports is built for reviews, retrospectives, and stepping back.

How to open Reports
- Sidebar: Reports.
- Command palette: ⌘+K (or Ctrl+K), then search Reports.
The six tabs
Reports opens on Overview by default. Use the tab bar to switch:
- Overview - a high-level summary. The tab adapts to your license - without CRM you see task and project totals; with CRM enabled you also see activity totals and pipeline value.
- Tasks - all tasks across personal, project, and CRM work, with a built-in Focus Mode stats summary (weekly focus time, sessions, completion rate, streak, top focused tasks). See Tasks Report and Task Focus Mode.
- Projects - active vs archived, average progress, top-progress list, and task breakdowns by status and priority. See Projects Report and Project Metrics for the time-tracking depth on a single project.
- Time (Pro) - the space-wide timesheet of all tracked time across the Space (timer sessions, focus time, and the time you assign from the Time Inbox), with a per-task breakdown and a two-week trend. It shows once PrimeTime is turned on for the Space. See Time Report and PrimeTime.
- CRM Analytics (Pro with CRM) - contact and company totals, contacts by source, companies by industry, activity trend, this vs last month. See CRM Analytics Report.
- Sales Performance (Pro with CRM) - calls, emails, meetings, demos, proposals, a revenue-by-month chart, and a sales funnel. See Sales Performance Report.
Filters at a glance
Every tab respects the filter suite at the top of the page:
- Time range - 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, or all time
- Task categories - Personal, Project, CRM
- Project states - Active, Archived
- CRM categories - Contacts, Companies, Activities
- Bypass time range - for Projects and Tasks when you want the full set regardless of the time filter
- Filters are saved per Space, so switching Spaces restores the view you had there

Export a report
Use the Export action at the top of the page, then pick CSV or PDF, to save the current tab. The file is named for the section and the current date, so you can keep a folder of date-stamped reports. The PDF lays your figures out with clean headings, tables, and page numbers, and picks up your date and time settings from Settings. See Reports Filters and Export for what each export contains.

Reports is linked, not flat. Every important number is clickable:
- Task stat cards open a task list filtered by that number.
- Project cards open the project or a progress breakdown.
- Status and priority breakdowns filter the task list to just that status or priority.
- CRM and Sales cards jump to the relevant CRM page - Contacts, Companies, Call Tracker, Email Tracker, Deal Pipeline.

Reports and Dashboard cover different needs
The Dashboard widgets are live and tuned for now - what's due today, what's active, what you're focused on. Reports is tuned for over time - how did the week, month, or quarter go. Use them together.
Monday review, Friday retrospective
Open Reports on Monday to plan the week against last week's numbers, and again on Friday to close the loop with a retrospective view of what shipped.
Filter changes are free
Changing filters doesn't re-fetch anything. Every tab re-aggregates the data you already have, so exploring different time ranges and categories is fast.
Where your time shows up
The Time tab is your space-wide timesheet, gathering timer sessions, focus time, and the time you assign from the Time Inbox across the whole Space. It shows once PrimeTime is turned on, and PrimeTime is part of the Pro tier. For the in-depth time-spent view of a single project, with its own rollups across timer sessions, focus, and subtask and CRM work, open that project's Metrics tab instead. CRM tabs appear only when CRM is enabled
The CRM Analytics and Sales Performance tabs show only when PrimeCRM is enabled for the active Space. Enable CRM in CRM Settings. CRM requires Pro - see License Settings.
Reports is per Space
Each Space has its own Reports view and its own filter settings. Switch Spaces to see that Space's numbers.
Common questions
"Why don't I see CRM Analytics or Sales Performance?"
CRM tabs show only when PrimeCRM is enabled for the active Space. CRM requires Pro. See License Settings and CRM Settings.
"Where do I see time spent on a project?"
On the project's Metrics tab for a single project. For all your tracked time across the whole Space, open the Time tab, part of PrimeTime. See Project Metrics and Time Report.
"Can I export Reports to Excel or JSON?"
Reports exports as CSV or PDF. Spreadsheet apps open the CSV directly. The PDF is page-formatted with headings, tables, and page numbers, so it's ready to share or print. See Reports Filters and Export.
"Do filters follow me between Spaces?"
No. Filters are saved per Space, so each Space keeps its own preferred view.
"Is clicking a number safe?"
Yes. Clicking opens a filtered task list or navigates to the matching page. Nothing is changed by browsing.
